Movieland USA was originally founded in 1983 as a video rental store located in Mooresville Indiana. The founding members, Marline and Robert Morehouse, grew their local business over the course of three decades to include four stores throughout Indiana (Mooresville, Martinsville, Plainfield, Brazil).

Today, the legacy of Movieland continues to serve as a medium for stories in the form of theatrical production. As a movie studio/production company, Movieland focuses on making films that the whole family can watch together and sharing stories that matter.
